The 2008 Washington State Biomedical Device Summit follows an intense effort to survey, analyze, and report on the economic impact of the Biomedical Device Industry in Washington State.

The Summit, the first ever to focus solely on the region’s Biomedical Device sector, is targeted to attract 200 guests including executives from the Biomedical Device industry, legislators, government officials, researchers, media, service providers, and economic development professionals.

Highlights of the Summit include:  

• Presentation of the report findings
• Panel discussions by key executives from the region's Biomedical Device industry
• Launch of the Biomedical Device Innovation Partnership Zone (IPZ)
• Showcase of a few of the Biomedical Device products developed in Washington State
• Networking reception representatives from the Biomedical Device sector

UW Bothell is located approximately 15 miles northeast of downtown Seattle. The campus is easily accessible via bus or car. The Burke-Gilman/Sammamish River trail system also provides direct access to campus. 

From North via I-5/I-405

Take I-405 south from I-5 at Lynnwood. Get off at Exit 24. At top of exit, take a RIGHT onto Beardslee Blvd.Go 1/8 mile and turn LEFT onto 110th Ave NE. 

From South via I-405

Take I-405 north to Exit 24. Turn LEFT onto Beardslee Blvd/NE 195th Str. Go 1/8 mile and turn LEFT onto 110th Ave NE.  

From East via SR-522T

ake SR-522 WEST towards Bothell/Seattle. Stay in right lane after passing the I-405 interchange. You will see the campus on your right. Just before the first stop light, go RIGHT up hill. At stop sign turn RIGHT onto Beardslee Blvd. Go 7/10 mile to 110th Ave NE and turn RIGHT.

Burke-Gilman/Sammamish River Trail Access

The Burke-Gilman/Sammamish River trail system follows the scenic course of the Sammamish River in the Bothell/Woodinville area. Follow the signs for the short spur along North Creek into our campus wetland.
