2008 Commuter Challenge Diamond Awards
15th Annual Awards Breakfast Honoring Outstanding Leadership

Thursday, May 8, 2008 ~ 7:30 - 9:00am
Seattle Marriott Waterfront Hotel
Space is Limited -- Click here to RSVP Today!

2008 marks the 15th annual Commuter Challenge Diamond Awards to honor King county businesses and their employees for outstanding efforts in reducing employee commute trips. The overall goal of the Commuter Challenge Diamond Awards is to publicly recognize those local businesses and employee transportation coordinators (ETCs) that regularly go "above and beyond" when it comes to providing commute trip reduction programs to employees.

Award-winning organizations take the time to really look at what programs and services would get their employees out of single occupancy vehicles and then put the organization's resources -- whether personnel, money, facilities, or otherwise -- behind the program. It is these businesses and individuals we recognize with a Diamond Award.

Past award recipients include: CH2M Hill; Children's Hospital & Regional Medical Center; City of Bellevue; City of Renton; Electronic Data Systems (EDS); Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center; Heller Ehrman LLP; Key Bank; Microsoft Corporation; Nintendo of America; Paccar Parts; Philips Medical Systems; The Seattle Times; Seattle University; Starbucks Coffee Company; Symetra Financial; T-Mobile; University of Washington, Planned Parenthood of Western Washington, and University Village.
